Who are we

As a community based housing co-op, we are run entirely by and for our tenant members. Tenant members own and manage their housing collectively – so they are effectively their own landlord. This gives them a high level of control over their homes and their neighbourhood. Perhaps because of this most tenant members tend to stay with CHC, so our homes are in high demand. In all there are around 600 housing co-operatives in England.

As of the 1st Novemebr 2022, Cossington Housing Cooperative became an independant housing provider who will supply services like applicant interviews, housing allocations, repairs, maintenance, cleaning, rent collection, development and legal advice.
